The U.S. Navy Physical Readiness
Test consists of four parts:
You must be able to touch your
toes while sitting on the ground.
You must do as many push-ups as
you can in two minutes. The upper arm must be parallel to the ground to
count. Any portion of the body touching the ground other than hands and
feet terminates the test.
You must do as many curl-ups as
you can in two minutes. The arms are crossed in front of the chest and
the legs are at a 90 degree angle. The forearms must touch the thighs
and the lower back must touch the ground to count.
You must perform a timed 1.5 mile
run/walk, 500-yard swim, or 450-meter swim.
